After the debut of the Ferrari Dino 246 GT in 1969, a new Spider version was born. At the 1972 Geneva Motor Show, reactions to the newborn were immediately very positive. Its success was reflected in the figures: Around 4000 examples of the 246 GT were built, 1200 of them in the Spider version.
The Ferrari Dino 246 GT modified many technical solutions under the bonnet compared to the 206 GT: the engine block was made entirely of cast iron and dispensed with aluminium.
Another special feature is the removable roof and the Daytona-style seats, which consist of many small leather strips.
