The 812 Superfast was designed to push the boundaries of Ferrari's own achievements. It ushered in a new era in Ferrari 12-cylinder history, the powerplant that had celebrated the beginning of the Prancing Horse story 70 years ago in 1947 The 812 Superfast focused on utilising Ferrari's extensive technical knowledge on the track, offering its drivers both benchmark performance across the board and the most exciting and rewarding driving experience possible. Building on the invaluable legacies of the F12berlinetta and F12tdf, this was the fastest and most powerful production car to come out of Maranello when it was released.

The power of the 812 Superfast has been increased to 800 cv, 60 more than the F12berlinetta, while the torque values have also improved from 508 lb-ft to 529 lb-ft. The car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in an astonishing 2.9 seconds and reaches 340 km/h. To maximise its performance and ensure perfect weight distribution, the car uses a sophisticated transaxle architecture that combines a 6.5-litre V12 front engine with a rear-mounted gearbox. It is also the first Ferrari to be equipped with EPS (Electric Power Steering).

The 812 Superfast redefines the formal language of front-engined V12s with its new muscular, more aggressive design, although at first glance it is clear that the exterior of the car continues to be inspired by the F12berlinetta. The car's sculpted flanks, front diffusers and underbody offer significant aerodynamic improvements over its predecessor. Quad tail lights, inspired by Ferrari tradition, emphasise a design that revolves around horizontal lines, giving the 812 Superfast a broad, imposing stance without compromising on practicality. In silhouette, the car has a sleek fastback with a high rear end reminiscent of the 1969 365 GTB4 „Daytona“. In contrast to its exterior, the interior of the 812 Superfast was inspired by the LaFerrari with its horizontal dashboard that stylishly wraps around the central air vents, offering a refined, sculpted yet extremely stylish look reminiscent of the LaFerrari's cockpit. These ultra-taut surfaces are deliberately layered and broken up to create voids so that the main elements appear to float. The overall effect is a fine balance between purebred racing and sleek elegance that never feels overdone in a car.

This fine 1:8 scale model of the Ferrari 812 Superfast has been handcrafted and finished in our workshops using CAD directly from the Ferrari design office, allowing us to perfectly replicate every detail at scale. The prototype model has been thoroughly scrutinised by Ferrari's engineering and design teams to ensure complete accuracy of representation.
