The Italian private racing driver Sergio Bettoja was the first owner of this 250 GTO. He debuted it at the Parma-Poggio hill climb in June 1962 and then sold the car to Count Volpi, who then raced it at Le Mans. In April 1963, chassis 3445GT was sold to Ulf Norinder, who had it painted in the Swedish racing colours (blue with yellow centre stripe) and raced it with some success well into the 1964 season at the Targa Florio, 2000 km Daytona, 500 km, Spa and Monza. From 1965, the car had several owners until 2012, when #3445GT was extensively restored by Ferrari Classiche. The car presented by CMC was #3445GT, with which Norinder and Troiberg achieved a 9th place overall and 2nd place in class at the 1964 Targa Florio with the starting number #112.
