The F80 represents a revolution for Ferrari sports cars thanks to the first electric motor to be developed, tested and produced entirely in Maranello. The MGU-K electric motor is based directly on Ferrari's racing experience. Various components come from the powertrain of the 499P, the winner of the 2023 and 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours.

The CCM-R Plus brake system developed in collaboration with Brembo - an absolute novelty for a road vehicle - consists of long carbon fibres and is coated with silicon carbide to improve resistance.

The generous S-Duct in the centre section of the F80's bonnet conceals a three-part wing (triplane), which directs the front airflow to the rear wing and thus generates maximum aerodynamic performance.

The exterior design of the F80 has a futuristic look with clear references to the aerospace industry. The cockpit is inspired by a Formula 1 single-seater and offers an unprecedented solution that makes the driver the absolute protagonist and turns the F80 into a „1+“. The F80 is equipped with a new steering wheel that is slightly smaller than the previous model and has an improved grip to improve the grip of the hands on the steering wheel. It is equipped with physical buttons for easier operation and touch recognition.
