The Spider version of the Ferrari 849 Testarossa is the open version with a retractable hardtop (RHT) that can be opened and closed in just 14 seconds. The wind deflector system divides the incoming airflow, concentrates it and directs it away via two small air outlets integrated into the footwell of the seat.

The Ferrari 849 Testarossa was launched in 2025 and was clearly reminiscent of the name that was first used for the 500 TR in 1956 and described the colour of the cylinder head. The design combines unique, timeless lines inspired by the sports prototypes of the 1970s with striking shapes. A kind of bridge connects the headlights and characterises the front end, echoing the design concept of the Ferrari 12Cilindri and F80. The shape of the doors also serves as aerodynamic engine cooling ducts. At the rear, two twin tail units (inspired by the 512 S of the 1970s) form a patented aerodynamic system. The successor to the SF90 Stradale is a plug-in hybrid that combines a biturbo V8 engine with three electric motors to create an impressive powertrain.
