The Ferrari 488 Pista continues the tradition of Ferrari's renowned V8 special editions, which transform the standard model into an extreme, lightweight and track-ready version. The 488 Pista is inspired by racing, in particular the Ferrari Challenge and GTE programmes. Its design is consistently focussed on performance: The striking air intake (S-Duct) on the bonnet directs air and thus increases downforce. At the rear, the lighter Lexan rear windscreen and a fixed spoiler generate aerodynamic downforce. The result is maximum grip and stability even at very high speeds.
