Description

BBR Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA Special Version Rear Spoiler – Competizione Red | 1:18

This modified version is distinguished by a striking rear spoiler that precisely accentuates the vehicle's aerodynamic design. The abbreviation GTA has stood for Giulia Gran Turismo Alleggerita since 1965, a lightweight variant originally produced by Autodelta that achieved significant success in motorsport. To celebrate the brand's 110th anniversary, this historic concept has been consistently translated into the modern era. The original vehicle, limited to just 500 units worldwide, combines a significant increase in performance with a drastic reduction in weight.

The show car is powered by a further developed version of the 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine, which delivers 540 hp to the road. The extensive use of ultra-light materials such as carbon fibre, aluminium and innovative composite materials has made it possible to reduce the overall weight by 100 kilograms compared to the base model, guaranteeing an outstanding power-to-weight ratio. The miniature not only precisely reproduces the technical sophistication and dynamic presence of the modern high-performance sports car, but also alludes to the rich history of the model series, which dominated the European Touring Car Championship three times in a row in the past.
