BBR Ferrari 250 Testarossa 1957 – Red | 1:18

Numerous outstanding constructions have originated in Maranello over the decades, but only a few have achieved such a legendary status. This sports car, developed for both racing and selected private customers, undoubtedly belongs to this exclusive category. The vehicle owes its iconic nickname to the distinctively red painted valve covers of the engine. Also remarkable is the historical fact that all examples of this series were designed as left-hand drive.

In developing the miniature, BBR conducted extensive research to ensure the highest technical authenticity. Particular attention was paid to the windscreen, for which an elaborate construction of double photo-etched and moulded steel was realised to create an exact replica of the original. The dashboard is a testament to fine precision in model making; each individual instrument is covered with a fine, transparent cover. The steering wheel is faithfully assembled from five separate components. The high level of detail is rounded off by the delicate mountings for the exhaust system, which are made entirely of real steel.
