This model car pays tribute to a significant piece of automotive history: the Pagani Zonda C12 with chassis number 001. Horacio Pagani personally commissioned the elaborate restoration of this historic vehicle. After countless test kilometres and use in crash tests, this first Zonda was saved from being dismantled and was meticulously restored to its original condition by experienced craftsmen from Italy's Motor Valley. Based on the original design drawings, missing components were precisely reproduced and the original engineering was reinstated.

The Zonda C12 celebrated its world premiere in 1999 at the Geneva International Motor Show. With its mid-mounted 6.0-litre Mercedes-Benz V12 engine producing 450 hp, this car established the international reputation of the manufacturer from San Cesario sul Panaro. The powerful technical basis helped the Zonda achieve remarkable performance figures on major international race tracks in the early 2000s.

BBR presents a precise replica of the legendary Number 1 with this miniature. The model's development was carried out in direct collaboration with Pagani's engineers, who reviewed and authorised every single manufacturing step.
