With the 360 Modena Spider, Ferrari presented its twentieth road-legal convertible at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. Despite the prominently positioned V8 engine in the rear, the engineers succeeded in constructing a fully retractable automatic soft-top.

The aerodynamic efficiency of the 360 Spider is achieved through separate cooling apertures at the front, which guide airflow specifically under the vehicle floor to the rear diffusers. Besides the innovative use of aluminium as a structural material for the chassis, two roll-over bars, which reinforce the headrests, guarantee a high level of safety. The model accurately depicts the authentic version with a manual gearbox.
