The Ferrari F355 is a two-seater, mid-engined V8 sports car that was produced from 1994 to 1999. The model designation 355 is derived directly from the engine's technical specifications: 3.5 litres capacity and five valves per cylinder. Ferrari offered the car with a six-speed manual gearbox, including a classic H-pattern shifter, among other options.

A significant aspect of the F355's development was its advanced aerodynamics, which were worked out in detailed studies by Pininfarina. In addition to the styling around the passenger cell, the fully panelled underbody in particular ensures precise airflow beneath the vehicle.
