BBR Ferrari Dino 246 GTS 1972 – Ruby Red | 1:18

Following the debut of the Ferrari Dino 246 GT in 1969, the need for an open-top Spider variant arose. At the 1972 Geneva Motor Show, the new model was presented to the public and received with great acclaim. Its commercial success is clearly reflected in the production figures: out of a total of around 4,000 units of the 246 series produced, 1,200 left the factory as Spiders.

Compared to its predecessor, the 206 GT, the Dino 246 featured significant technical modifications, particularly in the engine bay. For example, the engine block was no longer made of aluminium, but entirely of cast iron. Among the most striking visual and functional features of this version are the characteristic, detachable roof and the elaborately designed Daytona-style seats, whose complex craftsmanship is distinguished by numerous fine leather stripes.
