Instead, the vehicle is characterised by the extensive use of sophisticated composite materials and design and aerodynamic techniques from motorsport's premier class.

The final production number was the result of a market analysis that forecast a worldwide demand of 350 potential customers. True to Enzo Ferrari's historical philosophy of always producing one less than the market demands, the total production run was limited to exactly 349 units.
