Designed purely for performance, the F50 completely foregoes power steering, brake boosters, and ABS. Instead, it is characterised by its extensive use of advanced composite materials along with construction and aerodynamic technologies directly derived from the pinnacle of motorsport.

The production number was based on a detailed market analysis that identified a worldwide potential of 350 interested customers. Following Enzo Ferrari’s famous philosophy – that the perfect production quantity should always be one vehicle below the actual market demand – the final number was ultimately limited to 349 examples.
