Der im Jahr 2002 vorgestellte Ferrari 575M Maranello stellt eine umfassende Weiterentwicklung des 550 Maranello dar. Das Kürzel M steht für Modificata und kennzeichnet eine Reihe substanzieller technischer Neuerungen im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell.

Das von Pininfarina gezeichnete Design bewahrt die markante Formensprache, integriert jedoch gezielte funktionale Anpassungen. Neu gestaltete vordere Lufteinlässe optimieren die Kühlung von Bremsen und Motor und verleihen der Frontpartie eine dynamischere Präsenz. Eine zentrale technische Innovation der Baureihe war die Einführung des elektrohydraulischen F1-Getriebes, dessen Technologie direkt aus dem damaligen Formel-1-Rennsport abgeleitet wurde.

Dieses Sammlermodell besticht durch eine exakte Nachbildung der Originallackierung und wird durch die detailliert ausgearbeitete Innenausstattung im hellen Farbton Crema authentisch abgerundet.
