The carbon fibre monocoque and the striking proportions of the base version remain, but have been further aerodynamically optimised. A subtly revised front end, derived from insights from GT racing, ensures improved airflow for the original. The technical heart is the powerful 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine, which was developed entirely at the company's headquarters.
