As the successor to the groundbreaking F1 and P1 models, the McLaren W1 opens a new chapter in the history of high-performance sports cars. Featuring innovative aerodynamics and uncompromising lightweight construction, the vehicle represents the technological pinnacle of the traditional British marque.

This precisely manufactured 1:18 scale model impresses with its outstanding build quality and attention to detail. The approximately 25-centimetre-long vehicle was realised by a small team of specialist model makers over more than 800 hours of development time. Production is carried out directly on the basis of original CAD data, paint codes and material specifications from McLaren Automotive. Fine castings, detailed photo-etchings and CNC-machined metal components are used in the process. Before its final approval, the closed kerbside model was rigorously inspected by the manufacturer's design and engineering teams to guarantee an exact scale reproduction.
