This exclusive 1:8 scale model is limited to worldwide only 40 copies limited and captures the exact condition of the vehicle after crossing the finish line. The race-specific dirt and signs of use are meticulously applied by hand by experienced artisans using historical archival footage. Measuring over 50 centimetres in length, the collector's item consists of thousands of precision-cast parts, photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal components.
Each model impresses with fully opening doors, an accessible boot and a removable engine cover, which reveals the highly detailed powerplant. Over 4,000 hours of development time and more than 450 hours of assembly time per model underline the uncompromising standard of authenticity, which was realised in close cooperation with the Ford archive and Gulf Oil International. This collector's item is rounded off by an enclosed, high-quality A1-format giclée art print showing the GT40 in the pit lane after its victory run.
