Designed by Rudolf Uhlenhaut in 1955, this vehicle fused Formula 1 technology with roadworthiness and, as the designer's company car, reached speeds of up to 300 km/h. Chassis 00007/55, accurately replicated here and known among connoisseurs as „The Blue“ on account of its interior, wrote automotive history in the spring of 1956 during a high-speed test drive on the Munich-Eching autobahn.

This exclusive 1:8 scale replica captures the elegance and technical brilliance of the original in absolute precision. In over 4,000 hours of development time and based on high-precision digital scans of the real vehicle from the Mercedes-Benz Museum, a detailed collector's item was created. Each of the worldwide only 199 copies limited models is produced by a team of specialised craftsmen in more than 400 hours of handcrafting fitted.

The model consists of thousands of precisely manufactured individual parts, including the finest cast components, photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal elements. The paintwork in silver-grey metallic and the choice of materials were realised in close collaboration with Mercedes-Benz using original archive images and design drawings to guarantee complete historical authenticity.
