The F1 LM was developed as a lighter, more uncompromising version of the revolutionary road car to honour McLaren's historic debut victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. As a tribute to this triumph, only five customer cars were manufactured, combining the aggressive aerodynamics of the racing car with unrestricted engine performance.

For the construction of this high-precision 1:8 scale model, the original XPLM prototype chassis at the McLaren Technology Centre was elaborately scanned. Created in close collaboration with the McLaren engineering and design teams through meticulous handcrafting, it is an exact replica that impresses with original material specifications, authentic finishes and absolute fidelity to detail. Every component was painstakingly reproduced using archival images and engineering drawings, and finally checked for dimensional accuracy by the manufacturer.

Special feature: This model car, limited to 199 examples, comes exclusively with a copy of the book „Driving Ambition“ personally signed by chief designer Gordon Murray. Since only 25 of these signed book copies are available worldwide, this combination represents an exceptional rarity for discerning collectors.
