Description

Amalgam McLaren F1 GTR Harrods – 1995 Le Mans 3rd Place – Yellow | 1:8

Designed for the road, the McLaren F1 wrote motorsport history in 1995 when the specially modified GTR version dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans on its very first entry. This specific chassis, 06R, raced in the striking yellow and green Harrods livery of the Mach One Racing Team and fought its way to an impressive third place on the podium despite the most adverse weather conditions.

Created in over 4,000 hours of development time and around 400 working hours per piece, a technical work of art has been produced in 1:8 scale. Limited to just 99 pieces worldwide, the replica was crafted in close collaboration with McLaren Automotive based on original CAD data, paint codes and material specifications. Thousands of precisely manufactured components – including fine photo-etched parts, detailed cast components and CNC-machined metal elements – combine to create an exceptional collector's item. A particular highlight is the opening engine cover, which reveals the precisely replicated drivetrain.

Through high-precision digital scans of the original car and rigorous quality control by McLaren’s design and engineering teams, absolutely uncompromised and true-to-scale authenticity down to the smallest switch is guaranteed. An exclusive, officially licensed Le Mans product for the most discerning collections.
