Amalgam Bugatti Type 57G „Tank“ 1937 Le Mans Winner – Blue | 1:8

The Bugatti Type 57G „Tank“ made history in 1937 when, driven by Jean-Pierre Wimille and Robert Benoist, it dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Of the original three examples built, only this historic winning car with chassis number 57335 survives today, which served as the direct template.

This 1:8 scale model, strictly limited to just 199 pieces, was precisely conceived over more than 5,000 hours of development time. The assembly of each individual example takes over 500 hours of pure handcraftsmanship by a small specialist team. The elaborate construction comprises thousands of precisely manufactured cast parts, fine photo-etchings and CNC-machined metal components. Thanks to high-precision digital scans of the original vehicle and direct collaboration with Bugatti, who contributed original paint codes and material specifications, the miniature exhibits uncompromising attention to detail. Particular technical finesse is demonstrated by the opening driver's door, the removable engine cover and the removable spare wheel, which grant an unobstructed view of the hidden mechanics and the historic interior of this officially licensed Le Mans winner.
