Amalgam Audi R8 2005 Le Mans Winner ADT Champion Racing No. 3 – Red | 1:8

This Le Mans prototype celebrated five overall victories at the legendary 24-hour race in France between 2000 and 2005. The featured car, bearing the race number 3, driven by Tom Kristensen, JJ Lehto and Marco Werner for the ADT Champion Racing team, secured Audi's fifth title in 2005 and at the same time made Kristensen the most successful driver in the history of the race.

The faithful replica in the imposing scale of 1:8, which reaches a length of over 58 centimetres, impresses with the highest technical precision and an authentic choice of materials. The model was designed over more than 2,750 hours of development time based on original CAD data, paint codes and design specifications from Audi AG. A small team of specialist model makers assembles each of the worldwide limited edition of just 199 pieces entirely by hand. This elaborate process takes over 275 hours per vehicle. The complex construction is made up of thousands of precisely manufactured individual parts, including the highest quality cast components, delicate photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal elements.

Thanks to high-precision digital scans of the real racing car and close cooperation with the manufacturer's engineering and design teams, an exact reproduction down to the smallest mechanical detail is ensured. Removable body parts reveal the complex internal structure as well as the highly detailed engine technology, impressively documenting the historical engineering art of the original.
