This model was launched by Agora as a kit in the special colour Blu Genziana in a limited edition of just 150 units. The model is sold out at Agora. Our example is already perfectly assembled. Some parts have been additionally refurbished to create a flawless model. The blue GTO is on offer. The pictures of the red one are for illustration purposes only.

The Ferrari 250 GTO is described by Ferrari enthusiasts as „the most admired and most valuable classic car in the world“ and as a „top-class Ferrari: a thoroughbred homologation car with a glorious racing history“. No model car collection would be complete without the 250 GTO.

This 1:8 scale car is a faithful replica of a Series 1 model with chassis number 3987GT, which was originally produced in 1962 for Luigi Chinetti N.A.R.T. (North American Racing Team) in New York (USA). Today, the car belongs to Ralph Lauren and is exhibited as part of L'art de l'automobile, the Ralph Lauren collection at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

Every detail was captured by 3D laser scan measurement of the original model, from the Ferrari Tipo 168/62 Colombo V12 engine to the D-shaped cooling vents, which are held closed by quarter-turn fasteners on the top of the nose.

The riveted metal parts on the inside of the doors and the details of the dashboard and switches show that this is a thoroughbred racing car reduced to the essentials.

The high-quality die-cast metal body features an authentic Ferrari Rosso Cina paint finish, and the large scale makes it possible to design the interior lighting, headlights, brake lights and indicators so that they actually work.
