The supercharged 4 ½ Litre Bentley „Blower“ wrote motor racing history in 1930 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, when it was involved in a legendary duel under Sir Henry „Tim“ Birkin and Jean Chassagne. Although car number 9 was unable to finish the race, this fearless drive went down in history as the epitome of the classic motor racing era.
Limited to just 199 examples, this 1:8 scale masterpiece impresses with uncompromising attention to detail and an imposing length of over 54 centimetres. Developed over more than 4,500 hours and requiring over 450 hours of manual assembly per model, it is an exact miniature crafted from thousands of precisely manufactured individual parts. Only the highest-quality cast parts, delicate photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal components are used.
The construction is based on high-precision digital scans of an original vehicle as well as original CAD data, historical drawings and material specifications provided in direct cooperation with Bentley Motors. Every nuance of the paintwork, the material and the complex mechanics was checked by the manufacturer's engineering and design teams for absolute authenticity to ensure a perfect historical reproduction.
