Amalgam Bugatti EB110 LM 1994 Le Mans – Blue | 1:8
In 1994, with its entry into the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Bugatti EB110 LM marked the brand's return to the Sarthe after an absence of 55 years. Driven by Alain Cudini, Éric Hélary and Jean-Christophe Bouillon, the car put on a strong performance, but had to retire shortly before the end of the race due to an unfortunate puncture on the Mulsanne Straight.
This 1:8 scale model, limited to just 199 examples, honours the historic racing car with the utmost attention to detail. Over more than 3,000 hours of development time, original CAD data, paint codes and material specifications from Bugatti were precisely implemented. The construction of each individual example requires more than 300 hours of precise handcrafting by a specialised team. The model consists of thousands of precisely fitting elements, including fine castings, photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal components. Designed as a closed model, it dispenses with moving parts and places absolute focus on the perfect exterior lines, aerodynamics and the exact paintwork of the Le Mans racing car.
