Amalgam Bugatti Type 59 1934 Monaco Grand Prix – Tazio Nuvolari Figure Edition – Red | 1:8

The Type 59 is considered a technical masterpiece and was the last successful Grand Prix racing car from Bugatti. At the 1934 Monaco Grand Prix, the Italian racing legend Tazio Nuvolari competed as a privateer with strong support from the factory team in a red-painted example and secured fifth place after a demanding race.

This exclusive 1:8 scale collector's item was developed in close collaboration with the manufacturer and is based on detailed digital scans of the original chassis 59122. Following an intensive development period of over 5,000 hours, each individual model is assembled by hand by a small team of specialist model makers in more than 500 hours. The model captivates with thousands of precisely crafted individual parts, including fine photo-etched parts, CNC-machined metal components and high-quality cast parts. A special technical feature is the removable bonnet, which reveals the precisely replicated drivetrain.

The edition, limited to a mere 28 pieces worldwide, also includes a driver figure of Tazio Nuvolari measuring around 20 centimetres in height. This was digitally modelled in Venice, produced via 3D printing and painstakingly hand-painted taking into account in-depth historical research, in order to reflect the racing attire and physiognomy of the time with absolute authenticity.
