The Ferrari 156 F1 „Sharknose“ dominated the 1961 Formula One season and secured the Scuderia its first Constructors' World Championship. This car is inextricably linked with the German racing driver Wolfgang von Trips, who wrote tragic motorsport history with this single-seater.

This precise 1:8 scale model was painstakingly handcrafted in Amalgam's workshops. Development was carried out in direct cooperation with Ferrari to guarantee uncompromising authenticity in paintwork, materials and historical specifications. The construction was based on high-precision digital scans of the original vehicle, alongside original archival images and technical drawings. To ensure exact scale representation, the prototype underwent rigorous scrutiny by the engineering and design teams from Maranello. The edition of this historic racing car is worldwide limited to exactly 199 pieces.
