Description
Amalgam Ferrari 250 GTO Road Specification (1962) – Red | 1:18
The Ferrari 250 GTO, unveiled in Maranello in 1962, is considered the pinnacle of the 250 GT series, combining the iconic 3-litre Colombo V12 with coachwork designed by Sergio Scaglietti. As a road-legal variant, the car unites historic racing pedigree with classic Italian styling.
This 1:18 scale model has been precisely handcrafted and assembled by a small team of specialised model makers. The development of the collector's item, measuring over 25 centimetres in length, took more than 800 hours. Exclusive CAD data, generated by a digital scan of the original chassis 3987GT in direct collaboration with Ferrari Classiche, served as the construction basis. The model consists of the finest materials and precisely manufactured components, including photo-etched parts as well as CNC-machined metal components. Visually, the miniature captivates with a flawless paint finish in original Rosso Corsa, combined with an authentically replicated, purist interior including the characteristic blue seats.
Note: This vehicle is a closed curbside model with no moving parts, allowing the smooth lines of the historic bodywork to be showcased in their pure form.
