Description

Amalgam Ferrari SF1000 1000th Grand Prix Livery 2020 Tuscany Grand Prix – Burgundy Red | 1:18

Scuderia Ferrari is the only team that has competed continuously in the Formula 1 World Championship since 1950. To celebrate its 1000th Grand Prix, the team competed at the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix in Mugello with a special livery that harks back to the brand's historical origins.

This exclusive 1:18 scale model accurately replicates the Ferrari SF1000 with its unique anniversary livery. The striking burgundy colour is a direct tribute to the Ferrari 125 S, the brand's first racing car. The race numbers precisely reproduce the traditional look of hand-painted digits. Taking over 800 hours of development time, the model was designed on the basis of original CAD data and exact material and colour codes from Scuderia Ferrari.

A small team of specialised model makers crafts and assembles each of the worldwide limited run of just 500 examples by hand in an elaborate process. The construction is characterised by the highest-quality materials, precise cast components, fine photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal components. The miniature is designed as a closed „kerbside“ model, where the focus is on the flawless aesthetics of the bodywork. The collector's item is rounded off by an enclosed certificate booklet, which pays tribute to this historic milestone in motorsport.
