The Honda RA272 made motorsport history when Richie Ginther secured the very first Formula One victory for a Japanese manufacturer at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. Powered by a high-revving 1.5-litre V12 engine, this car impressively demonstrated Japan's technological innovation on the international stage.

This exclusive 1:18 scale model was developed in close collaboration with the Honda Motor Company and the Honda Racing Corporation. The design is based on high-precision CAD data generated through detailed digital scans of the original winning chassis (RA272F-103) from the Honda Collection Hall in Motegi. Over 800 hours of development time went into perfecting the prototype, which was checked by Honda's engineers and historians for its uncompromised historical accuracy.

A small team of experienced tradespeople assembles each of the worldwide strictly limited to 300 copies Precision handcrafted models. The collector's item, measuring over 21 centimetres in length, impresses with precisely manufactured components, including fine castings, photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal components. The paint finish in historic ivory white with the striking red circle of the Japanese flag has been applied with close attention to detail. The vehicle is designed as a classic curbside model, which focuses entirely on the flawless, authentic exterior of the legendary racing car as a closed form.
