Amalgam Honda RA272 Mexican Grand Prix (1965) – White | 1:8

The Honda RA272 wrote motorsport history when Richie Ginther secured the first Formula One win for a Japanese constructor at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. With its advanced 1.5-litre V12 engine, the racing car demonstrated Honda's technical expertise on the international stage.

Developed in close collaboration with the Honda Motor Company and the Honda Racing Corporation, this 1:8 scale exact replica was created. The development of the model took over 4,500 hours, based on precise CAD data generated through digital scans of the original winning chassis (RA272F-103) from the Honda Collection Hall in Motegi. Each of the worldwide limited to only 30 limited edition pieces is assembled by hand in over 450 working hours by a small team of specialist craftspeople.

The model consists of thousands of precisely manufactured individual parts, including fine cast components, photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal elements. To ensure uncompromising historical and technical authenticity, the finished project was strictly inspected and approved by Honda's own engineers and historians.
