Amalgam McLaren MCL60 2023 United Kingdom Grand Prix – Chrome | 1:8

The McLaren MCL60, finished in the special anniversary chrome livery, secured Lando Norris an outstanding second place at the 2023 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Developed in collaboration with Google, the design is a direct homage to McLaren's historic chrome cars from 2006 to 2014.

This exclusive 1:8 scale model boasts architectural precision and is limited to just 99 pieces worldwide. With an impressive length of over 70 centimetres, each vehicle is crafted entirely by hand by a small team of specialists. The development of the prototype took over 2,500 hours, whilst the assembly of each individual model requires more than 250 hours.

Thanks to original CAD data and exact colour codes supplied directly by McLaren Racing, the geometry uncompromisingly matches the real racing car. The model consists of thousands of precision-engineered individual parts, including fine cast components, photo-etched parts and CNC-machined metal elements. The result is an accurate replica that meets the highest standards of model-making craftsmanship.
