The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, unveiled in 1954, was the result of an initiative by US importer Max Hoffman and quickly became an automotive icon thanks to its innovative fuel-injected engine and striking gull-wing doors. With a top speed of over 215 km/h, it was considered the fastest production car of its time.

This precise 1:8 scale model was handcrafted in close collaboration with Mercedes-Benz to ensure the highest level of authenticity. Based on high-precision digital scans of an original vehicle, alongside historical archival images and drawings, every single detail has been reproduced with millimetre precision. The exact paintwork and authentic choice of materials reflect the technical brilliance of the original model. Before final approval, the miniature underwent detailed inspections by engineering and design teams to ensure uncompromising accuracy of representation at the highest level of model making.
