Amalgam Mercedes-Benz SSKL 1931 Mille Miglia Winner Weathered – White | 1:8
In 1931 Rudolf Caracciola wrote motorsport history when, driving the Mercedes-Benz SSKL, he became the first non-Italian to win the prestigious Mille Miglia. Specifically designed as a two-seater racing car, the SSKL (Super-Sport-Kurz-Leicht) produced 300 hp thanks to its supercharged seven-litre six-cylinder engine and proved to be highly competitive over the 1,600-kilometre route.
This exclusive 1:8 scale model precisely replicates the historic winning car with elaborate and authentic weathering. In close collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, the original vehicle was digitally scanned to reproduce every detail with absolute scale accuracy. The complex development of the model, measuring over 53 centimetres in length, took more than 4,500 hours. A further 450 hours of purely hand-crafted work go into the assembly of each individual piece. Thousands of precision-engineered components, including fine photo-etched parts, complex castings and CNC-machined metal elements, guarantee an exact technical replica of the original based on the factory design drawings. This special edition is strictly limited to 99 examples worldwide.
