In the most adverse weather conditions, Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood drove the vehicle with race number 23 in the distinctive Salzburg livery across the finish line in first place.

Limited to just 199 examples, this 1:8 scale collector's model documents the construction of the original with outstanding technical precision. Crafted by specialised model makers in over 400 hours of handwork, the approximately 59-centimetre-long vehicle is made up of thousands of scale individual parts. The assembly includes precisely CNC-machined metal components, fine photo-etched parts and high-quality casting formats. The development of the model took more than 4,000 hours and was based on high-resolution digital CAD scans of an original vehicle. Thanks to the direct support of Porsche, exact paint codes, archival images and original material specifications were incorporated into the authentic production.

A key technical feature of this officially licensed reproduction is the opening doors as well as the removable engine cover. These reveal a view of an exact, highly detailed replica of the complex flat-12 engine. The model combines motor racing history with precise engineering for discerning collections.
