Description
BBR Alfa Romeo 1900 Squadra Mobile Polizia by RGM Design | 1:18
Alfa Romeo has always played a central role for the Italian law enforcement authorities, and the image of the Polizia di Stato has been significantly shaped by vehicles from Milan. After the rather sporadic and representative use of pre-war models, the police began to introduce units specifically equipped for patrol duty.
Although the distinctive crest only appeared on the flanks of service vehicles in the early 1960s Mobile Squad the designation known to this day appeared, arose Panther already in 1952 with the introduction of this type. Continuously adapted in equipment and livery, these vehicles remained in active service until 1964, while selected examples were used as official service cars for years beyond that. The present model documents this significant era of Italian police history with the highest technical and historical precision.
