The heart of the vehicle is the naturally aspirated V12 engine from Maranello, which delivers an output of 830 horsepower at a maximum engine speed of 9,500 rpm. The distinctive design of the two rear fins shapes the visual character of the Spider. Essential lines are emphasised by muscular wheel arches. The dominant, yet well-proportioned rear wheel arch blends seamlessly into the vehicle's geometry, while the front end is characterised by a clear reminiscence of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona.

A continuous, enveloping front section integrates the headlights and daytime running lights as narrow light strips. The proportions are those of a classic Gran Turismo: an elongated front, a compact passenger cell, and a short rear. The rear section, modified compared to the coupé, accommodates the convertible top and is visually emphasised by a continuous light band.
