Description

BBR Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto – Modena Yellow | 1:18

At the 1959 Paris Motor Show, Ferrari presented a new vehicle for GT racing. The 250 GT Berlinetta with a shortened wheelbase, which soon became known worldwide by the English abbreviation SWB (Short Wheel Base), quickly developed into a dominant vehicle in long-distance races. It was used with great success by both works drivers and ambitious private customers.

The vehicle represents the consistent further development of the 250 GT Berlinetta Tour de France. The wheelbase was reduced from 2,600 to 2,400 millimetres. The Italian suffix Short step This is due to the precise distinction of these cars, which were primarily developed for demanding motorsport. The 250 GT SWB is historically significant not only because of its striking and timelessly elegant body design, but also from a technical perspective: it was the first car of the brand to be equipped with disc brakes.

This high-quality collector's model is finished in the authentic Giallo Modena paint scheme and complemented by a precisely reproduced green interior.
