Description
BBR Ferrari 250 TDF 1958 Covered Headlights | 1:18
Better known by the name „Tour de France“, in homage to the famous French endurance race that the Italian manufacturer won nine times in a row between 1956 and 1964, this vehicle had a lasting impact on the historical development of motorsport.
In 1958, the bodywork design was revised. It henceforth featured a sleeker silhouette, aerodynamically faired-in headlights – the so-called „Fari carenati“ – and a roofline with exactly three ventilation slots. Historical records show a low production number of merely 18 examples of this specific version, some of which received a two-tone paint finish from the factory.
The true-to-life miniature captivates with its craftsmanship and precision. Characteristic components include spoked wheels turned from real aluminium and chrome-plated bumpers made of real metal. The collector's item is entirely manufactured at the BBR factory in Saronno, Italy, and meets the highest standards for design and material quality.
