Description

BBR Ferrari 275 GTS 4 NART Sebring 1967 – Yellow | 1:18 Scale

The Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spyder is an exclusive, two-seater open-top version of the 275 GTB/4. The production of this car stemmed from the initiative of Luigi Chinetti, the importer for Ferrari in North America, who was looking for a successor to the 250 California Spyder. In collaboration with Enzo Ferrari and the coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti, only ten examples were produced in 1967 and 1968. The unofficial additional designation honours Chinetti's North American Racing Team (NART).

This model depicts the very first chassis produced (09437). The car competed in the 1967 12 Hours of Sebring, piloted by Denise McCluggage and Marianne Rollo. The duo secured 17th place overall and second in the 5-litre GT class. The bodywork was painted in the original "Giallo Solare" colour for this race, before the car was later repainted burgundy for its appearance in the film "The Thomas Crown Affair".

The true-to-original 1:18 scale miniature is entirely handmade and assembled in the BBR manufactory in Saronno, Italy. The collector's item impresses with the highest technical precision and an authentic reproduction of the historical race details.
