The Ferrari 296 Speciale represents the further development of the 296 GTB. Launched in April 2025 - at the same time as the A version (Aperta) with retractable hardtop - this plug-in hybrid berlinetta offers a significant reduction in weight and increased overall performance. The design is immediately recognisable from the GTB thanks to the aerodynamic add-on parts of the 296 Challenge, such as the front aero damper, which directs the air from below to the bonnet and thus stabilises the front end. At the rear, the striking side wings catch the eye, reducing drag and increasing downforce by 20 % compared to the 296 GTB. The engine remains a biturbo V6 in combination with an MGU-K electric motor, but the total output increases to 880 hp - an increase of 50 hp compared to the 296 GTB.
