Description
BBR Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 S/N 7161 GT Enzo Ferrari Personal Car – Metallic Blue | 1:18
As the successor to the 330 America, this classic Gran Turismo debuted at the Brussels Motor Show. The vehicle is powered by the then newly developed four-litre V12 engine, type 209, whose engine block was slightly lengthened compared to the 400 SA series. The bodywork comes from Pininfarina and is characterised by its stylish lines. A total of around a thousand examples were produced in two series, which differ visually primarily in the front end: the first generation (1963 to 1965) had four headlights, the second (1965 to 1967) was equipped with two headlights.
This replica vehicle has a special history: On 25 October 1965, the original with chassis number 7161 GT became Enzo Ferrari's personal company car. It was delivered in the exclusive Blue Metallizzato (Italver 23900) paint finish combined with a beige interior. The present miniature precisely reproduces the company founder's personal vehicle with strict historical authenticity regarding the colour scheme and interior.
