Description
BBR Ferrari 355 F1 Spider Automatic Gearbox Challenge Grille – Nürburgring Silver | 1:18
The Ferrari F355 is a two-seater, mid-engined V8 sports car produced by the traditional Italian brand from 1994 to 1999. The model designation 355 is derived from its 3.5-litre displacement and the technical specification of five valves per cylinder.
When developing the F355, Ferrari integrated comprehensive technologies from Formula 1 into a production vehicle. These include electronic fuel injection, a flat underbody, a sequential gearbox, and electronically adjustable suspension. This could be adjusted from the cockpit in the modes Normal and Sport In Sport mode, the chassis was deliberately firmed up and, on versions with the electro-hydraulic transmission (F1 transmission), the shift time was noticeably reduced.
Thanks to intensive development work by Pininfarina, the F355 benefited from optimised aerodynamics. The focus was on efficient airflow on the completely clad underbody as well as around the passenger cell.
This model depicts the open-top Spider variant, equipped with the automated gearbox and the distinctive rear-mounted Challenge grille. The body is finished in Nürburgring Silver, while the interior is executed in a precisely recreated Bordeaux hue.
