Description
BBR Ferrari 360 Modena Spider Automatic Gearbox – Alloy Grey | 1:18
With the 360 Modena Spider, Ferrari unveiled its twentieth open-top roadster at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000. Despite the V8 mid-engine being visibly positioned under a glass rear cover, the engineers succeeded in seamlessly integrating a fully automatic, fully retractable soft-top into the design.
The model's high aerodynamic efficiency was achieved through double, separate cooling air vents at the front. These precisely channel the airflow under the vehicle to the distinctive diffusers at the rear. For occupant safety, two robust rollover bars are located behind the headrests. A key technical feature of this model series is the consistent use of aluminium as the structural material for the chassis, which provides the vehicle with high torsional rigidity while simultaneously reducing weight.
