BBR Ferrari 360 Modena Spider Automatic Gearbox Challenge Grille – Alloy Grey | 1:18
With the 360 Modena Spider, Ferrari presented its twentieth road-legal convertible at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. Despite the V8 engine visibly located at the rear, engineers succeeded in integrating a fully automatic, completely retractable soft-top into the compact design.
The aerodynamic efficiency of the 360 Spider is achieved through two separate air intakes at the front that direct the airflow specifically under the vehicle to the diffusers integrated in the rear section. Two sturdy roll-over bars behind the headrests ensure the structural safety of the occupants. The significant technical innovations of this model series also included the extensive use of aluminium as a structural material for the chassis.
This model depicts the automatic transmission (Cambio automatico) variant with the distinctive Challenge rear grille. The exterior paintwork in Alloy Grey authentically contrasts with the burgundy interior.
