The Ferrari 458 Speciale A, with the „A“ standing for „Aperta“ (open), is considered the definitive evolutionary stage of the naturally aspirated V8 458 series. This technical orientation makes it one of the most sought-after modern-era sports cars among collectors.
Unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the vehicle was conceived as a strictly limited edition. With a total production of just 499 units, the open-top variant is significantly rarer than its coupé counterpart.
The design of the Speciale A is the direct result of intensive aerodynamic wind tunnel testing. Active Aerodynamics The vehicle features: movable front flaps that direct air precisely to the coolers or reduce air resistance, while a motorised rear wing precisely balances downforce at high speeds.
