BBR Ferrari 499P Winner Le Mans 2023 Car N.51. High-quality collector's model in 1:18 scale.
Le Mans 11 June 2023
Ferrari won the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P of Alessandro Pier Guidi, who shared the number 51 car with James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi and completed 342 laps of the French circuit. The manufacturer from Maranello achieved a historic result on its return to the top class after half a century: the Ferrari - AF Corse team triumphed in the world's most famous endurance race.
At the chequered flag, Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen in the #50 499P finished fifth, delayed during the night by repairs that knocked the team out of contention for the podium, despite an excellent performance that allowed them to climb several places up the rankings.
The Ferrari 499Ps started from the first two grid positions with hypercar numbers 50 and 51 respectively, thanks to the times achieved during the Hyperpole when Fuoco took pole.
This was the Cavallino Rampante's tenth overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, joining the winners from 1949, 1954, 1958 and 1960-1965. Ferrari's history at Le Mans now includes 39 victories, including 29 class wins.
With this result in the fourth round of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship, Ferrari remains second in the manufacturers' standings and reduces the gap to Toyota to 19 points.
