BBR Ferrari 512 BB Targa Anliker 1984 – Red | 1:18

The sports car presented at the 1976 Paris Motor Show served as the basis for an extraordinary project. While production models like the 308 or the 246 were already delivered with an integrated Targa roof from the factory, the modification of the 512 BB represented a technical novelty. The Swiss design studio ANLIKER took on this challenge and created the first 512 BB Targa in automotive history. The custom-made roof structure disappears almost invisibly behind the two seats and can be precisely fitted and locked in place with just a few simple steps.

The result of this elaborate development is a massively powerful vehicle with 520 hp and a documented top speed of 330 km/h. The chassis geometry and body have been significantly widened with a vehicle width of 214 cm, and 11-inch wheels on the front axle and 16-inch wheels on the rear axle. The engine bay is characterised by a red powder-coated engine block, accentuated by gold-plated intake manifolds. Corresponding gold embellishments are also found on the wheel nuts and the vehicle emblems. The interior is fully equipped with fine de Sede leather. Ueli Anliker Design's historical configuration is evident in a striking and authentically realised colour scheme of red, white, and gold.
