Description
BBR Ferrari 575M Maranello 2002 – Avus White | 1:18
The sports car presented in 2002 represents a consistent further development of its predecessor, the 550 Maranello. The additional designation M stands for Modified and refers to extensive technical and visual updates. The design, penned by Pininfarina, retains the muscular elegance of the original form, while integrating functional innovations. Redesigned front air intakes optimise the cooling of the engine and braking system, which also gives the vehicle a more dynamic presence.
A key technical innovation of this series was the introduction of the electro-hydraulic F1 gearbox, the technology for which was directly derived from Formula 1 racing. The model impresses with its precise paintwork in Avus White and is equipped with a detailed, red interior that authentically reflects classic Italian vehicle architecture in model building.
